Detailed Knee Surgery description:
In this medical simulation you are training to become a surgeon and this exercise is to take you through the process of replacing a failing knee joint. Starting off with checking the patients vital signs and preparation for knee surgery including everything from examination of the x-ray to see which knee is lacking the proper amount of cartilage to justify the knee replacement surgery to prepping the knee. The anesthesiologist will apply the drugs inducing amnesic to put the patient "under" and paralytic keeping the patient motionless to perform the surgery properly. This simulation takes you step by step including from the initial incision to sawing at the bone and replacing with an artificial knee and finally stapling up the incision.
